Every year BHU (Banaras Hindu Vishwavidyalaya) conducts BHU MCA Entrance Exam offering admission for the MCA course. Interested candidates are supposed to give an admission test called Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) to get into three years full-time MCA course. Eligibility for BHU MCA Entrance :

Before applying for the BHU MCA Entrance Exam, interested candidates must fulfill the below conditions : 

• Eligibility for BHU MCA Entrance says that a candidate should have a bachelor's degree in BCA from a recognized educational institute or university with min. 50% aggregate score. 
• The candidate should have studied mathematics as a mandatory subject in senior secondary and bachelor's degrees. 
• Relaxation of 5% in the aggregate score is provided in students from the reserved category (SC/ST) as per the government policies. Therefore, they need to have 45% aggregate marks in the exam. 

BHU MCA Entrance Exam Timing & Date :

The online application forms will be available on the official website of BHU from the last week of January 2021. Interested candidates can fill and submit the form by the last week of February 2021. By April, the University will release the admit card for the applicants. The exam date will be announced by the university soon but it is assumed to be conducted around the last week of April 2021.

Soon after the results are announced by the end of June 2021, University will start the counseling in July. 

Syllabus and Pattern for BHU MCA Entrance :

Before sitting for the test, the candidate must be well aware of the syllabus and pattern for BHU MCA Entrance.  This is an online i.e computer-based test divided into two parts - Section A and B. It contains 120 multiple choice questions for 3 marks each. However, where one correct answer will reward the candidate with 3 marks, 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
